I&#039;m just year younger than you, and you perfectly describe how Wilson (and the Royals as a whole were viewed). Even his name sounded fast. He drove me mad, and I remember being frustrated at the way he&#039;d choke up and slap the ball around, but looking back him now, I see he wasn&#039;t all that good, never walking, no power, etc. It was more fun when he seemed a great player.
